About Me
Elise Tremblay is a Canadian genealogist from Québec who focuses on early French settlement, fur-trade era families, and Métis heritage research. Growing up in Trois-Rivières, she became fascinated by the stories of voyageurs and early colonial families preserved in local historical societies. Tremblay later studied anthropology and archival research at Université Laval and has since published multiple guides for beginners exploring French-Canadian parish registers. She frequently collaborates with historical associations and museums across Canada.
